thatgaydaddy's Lore

thatgaydaddy (aka daddy, dad, papi, unc, etc.) first came out as a gay man in 2016. It took another five years — and a pandemic — before this version of me became official.

Back in December 2020, when everything still felt sideways from COVID, my ex-boyfriend and I were talking when he suddenly said, “You should start an OnlyFans.” This was during the era when it felt like everyone and their dad was signing up, so my first reaction was basically: Who the hell would want to see me?

I didn’t jump straight in. I started on Twitter in January 2021, back when it was still called Twitter, and I was so nervous it took me another couple of weeks before I posted my first photo and story.

How "Daddy" started

So why “daddy”?

That actually started with a 19-year-old SDSU boy who came over one night. We were lying in bed facing each other when he said, “Let’s role play.” I agreed, and then he said, “I’ll be the boy and you be the daddy.”

I’m not even going to lie — I froze for a second. At the time, it felt a little weird to me. But we rolled with it, and that was that.

A few months later, I met my future boyfriend on Grindr, and he was one of the next people to call me daddy. By then I was getting used to the idea. After that, it kept happening. He called me daddy all the time, one of his best friends said I was “daddy as fuck,” and eventually it stopped feeling random and started feeling accurate.

At some point, I realized I wasn’t just being called daddy. I was becoming him.

What Makes This Version Different

When I was in my teens and 20s, the internet was slow, apps didn’t exist, and finding a hot older guy felt nearly impossible. And when you did find one, he usually wasn’t what you hoped for.

Too often they weren’t in shape. Too often they were insecure, obsessive, jealous, or just plain strange. A lot of them didn’t talk openly about sexual health. A lot of them didn’t know how to just talk. Some of them wanted control without presence, intimacy without care, or sex without any real self-awareness.

That stuck with me.

So now that I’ve become thatgaydaddy, I try to balance that out.

I stay in shape because health matters.
I’m not obsessive or jealous because confidence matters.
I talk openly about STI testing, HIV prevention, PrEP, and PEP because health matters.
I listen because presence matters.
And I care about the vibe because weird is still weird.

This brand isn’t about pretending to be perfect. It’s about being a version of “daddy” that feels real: sexy, grounded, confident, fun, and actually safe to be around.

Warm, but with boundaries.
Present, but not possessive.
Experienced, but not preachy.

Off-camera, I’m also a longtime personal trainer based in San Diego, so health, body awareness, and discipline have always been part of who I am.

Yes, Daddy Can Be A Bottom

One question I get pretty often is: “Why are you a bottom?”

Easy. Because I have a lot of fun being a bottom.

The idea that daddy always has to be a top is just a stereotype, and honestly, not a very interesting one. There’s something very hot about watching a boy’s face light up when he realizes he gets to practice topping an experienced bottom.

That said, I’m actually vers. You just may not have seen all of that side of me yet.

Where The Brand Is Now

The year is 2026, and the thatgaydaddy brand is five years old.

What started as me being nervous to post one picture has turned into a whole world: sex, humor, health, lifestyle, fitness, thoughts, stories, and whatever else grows out of this strange little corner of the internet I’ve built.

There’s still more to come.

Thanks for being here. It’s low-key hot that you like watching, and I’m not mad at that.

Be good to yourself. Take care of your body. Take care of your mind. I’ll see you online.
